🐾  The Story Behind the Cat-Eared Flip Case

As a designer—and a lifelong cat person—this case came straight from the heart.

One day during a team brainstorming session, we started sharing funny little stories about our cats. I mentioned how my own cat always curls up next to my phone when I leave it on the couch, like she’s guarding it. Someone else said, “It’s like they’re protecting our world.” That stuck with me.

We wanted to capture that exact feeling—the comfort, the quiet companionship, and that ever-curious gaze cats give when they watch you texting away. So we began sketching playful, wide-eyed kitties, and it was instantly clear: the design needed 3D cat ears. Not just for cuteness, but to bring that sense of “alertness” cats are known for.

But as much as we loved the aesthetic, functionality was just as important. Flip phones have one weak spot—the hinge. So we reinforced it. We also added raised edges to help protect the screen and camera, making sure it could keep up with everyday life.

To me, this case isn’t just an accessory—it’s a little emotional shield. It feels like carrying a piece of that cat-like warmth and attentiveness wherever you go.

It’s soft, it’s protective, it’s playful—just like the cats who inspired it.
